I started this blog to be more specific about what ALS has been like for me. I have another blog that I started long before I got sick (link here). I used this blog to talk about how ALS was affecting when the impact was rather minor. The theme of the other blog was transportation so using it to explain ALS probably didn't make sense.
The background photo for the header for this blog doesn't have any thing to do with ALS. It is just a very peaceful photo that I took in 1999 (with film).
The photo to the left is when the bike club stopped by in June. I was riding an adult trike at the time. My last ride on a regular bike (my Bike Friday) was on April 17. My arms were not reliable and I crashing too much.
I am going to end this post now and see what it looks like.

And it looks damned good, Paul. I wonder how long it took you to write this with your set up on your glasses.
ReplyDeleteIf you want ideas about what to write (maybe you don't so feel free to ignore me completely!) and if you are willing to be really open I'm sure people who read this want to know how you feel about where you find yourself today. We who know you, remember you in the paceline chatting away about all sorts of things that none of the rest of us knew anything about. It must be really, really frustrating as a talkative person to not be able to express yourself the way you used to.
Anyway, I'll be reading loyally.
